decided to get a unreal tournament sniper server, been a while since we had one.

IP 8.12.16.165:7777

here's the download link to the game if you don't have it, don't think you can even buy it anymore lol. you'll need winrar to open the file, i'll upload a zipped version. you install the unrealtournament.exe then the 436 no delta patch.

you seemed to be lagging the other night, you can hit F6 in the game and in the upper left corner it'll show if you're getting packetloss.

oh ya lagging big time. i took 2 maybe 3 steps and i would just freeze. screen jumped around like i was hopping in place really fast. and i hit f6 and no packet loss so maybe its related to your post about the mouse and video. ill copy and paste it and see it that helps.

to check the frame rate in the game, before entering click on tools then timedemo statistics.

1.5 gigs of ram
nvidia 7650gts
g15 keyboard with g5 laser mouse
22" widescreen samsung syncmaster t220

i think i forgot to set resolution for widescreen monitors gonna try that and see if that helps

has to be a setting somewhere i would think. game should run easily on your pc. it says it's using direct3d8 under preferences?

ya it does say direct3d8 support. tried different resolution settings. for a while didnt freeze. just would run very slow, but now its back to the freezing up stuff. This sux. ut99 is such a great game. what are u running for ur settings widow?
resolution, 16/32 bit, etc. its gotta be in my settings i would think.

i use what i have posted, here's the open gl enhanced dll and my ut.ini. you need to put both in the system folder, might want to back up the original ini tho and go thru the process to change it to open gl.

dunno skel, got some odd problems lol. never seen where is runs normal then speeds up offline, at least with vsync on and then run in slow motion online.
